Angie Bain, massage therapist, esthetician, advanced process acupressure practioner, owner Lifespa Wellness Center

 Angie began her career in health care in 1996 as a chiropractic assistant and chiropractic radiologist. Working with soft-tissue injuries and chronic pain quickly became a passion of hers, inspiring her to pursue an education in therapeutic massage. She graduated from the Fox Valley School of Massage in 1999 and started her career immediately as a sole proprietor in the Fox Valley. In 2001 she moved her office to the Howard Chiropractic Clinic and her practice quickly grew. To meet the needs of her multiplying customer base, she created Lifespa Wellness Center in 2003, hiring a team of talented massage therapists and skin care professionals. She became a licensed skin care professional herself in 2006. She began her education in mind/body therapies in the method of acupressure and process work in 2015 with Soul Lightening Acupressure International and earned her advanced certification in Process Acupressure in 2022. In 2023, she also trained to energetically support the terminally ill, dying and grieving through The Centre for Sacred Deathcare.

Angie's focus is therapeutic, medical, energy and mind/body therapies. She uses her own unique style of massage that is a blend of the many modalities she has learned throughout her years as a massage therapist. Her goal is to assist her customers with a clearer understanding of how they "work"--to gain a better understanding their pain processes and offer solutions to chronic pain patterns through education, insight and body work therapies. She is incredibly grateful to be able to offer her sessions in Howard and feels blessed by the people she touches.
